Last Friday, I went out with the girls (yes, Gelo .. for the meantime, girl ka na rin for me. Hahaha!).
‘Twas Gelo’s post birthday celeb and Lilystars Records’ First Anniversary at Gweilos.
We came in early (arrived there around 7). Gelo was busy preparing the stuff for the party. And since we really don’t have anything to help Gelo with, the biological females (bwahahah) — that’s Camo, Jam, Nikki & me — decided to get something to eat.
Gweilos was only a few blocks away from one place I’ve been wanting to go back to for a couple of days now.
It was the coffee shop where I saw my barista. I was told that his name is Raffy (thanks Ate Sheilla!). :3
I didn’t really intend to call him mine but when I was telling Sir Pepe about him, I was talking too fast and Sir thought I called him “barista ko” (trans: my barista). I thought it’s fun to someone mine just for the sake of owning him in my dreams knowing that he is someone I will never have. So I called him mine.
I saw my barista for the first time during lunch break when I was still working for Coloriphics a couple of weeks ago. Since my office mate came in late and had lunch already, I had to eat alone. Jollibee & Greenwich were already full, same with Chowking and Mini Stop. I wandered around Makati not knowing where to eat. ‘Twas only my 2nd day at work and I didn’t know where to go because I wasn’t familiar with the place. I kept walking and walking until I found a coffee shop with a few people inside. I was desperate and starving so I went in to grab a bite even if it meant it would hurt my pockets. I looked wasted and rugged while everyone else looked groomed and clean in their corporate clothes. Bah. (I haven’t slept for two days because I was cramming some layout work which I hated doing.)
Raffy was the nice barista who took away the sleepiness and stress with his gorgeous smile.
He’s not so good looking but I liked his attitude. May dating e! And when I saw him, I knew he was a musician (and I was right! Sir Peps and Ate Shiella said so!!). :3
I forced the girls to come and have coffee with me because I was “sleepy”. :p But I knew they wanted to see if he was worth looking at too. (I apologize if you guys think he’s not worth the walk hehehe.)
That photo was Jam’s (or was it Nikki’s?) idea. I know, it’s so high school but I felt I had to press the damn button because I’m not sure when I’ll be able to go that far just to see him again. *blush blush*
AHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ♥♥♥
:3
*cough*
Moving on….
Our coffee time wasn’t devoted to sightseeing. XD Most of it was actually spent on bonding time: catching up on what has happened to each other, camwhoring, and then hearing a very interesting story from Jam which, unfortunately, I can’t share here. *wink*
Nikki: Mabait!
Go figure. Hahahahah.
To be continued. Blog about the party … soon!
