A(H1N1)MO LA SALLE

A(H1N1)MO LA SALLE!

Done out of boredom.

This is my way of translating fear into humor.
I’m from DLS-CSB and even if the other colleges already postponed the
opening of their classes, our school refuses to suspend ours — even if the situation is scary.

Since the outbreak in DLSU, some people come to school wearing masks. It’s pretty freaky. O_o

5th JAM 88.3 Musicfest

15 May 2009, Eastwood Central Plaza

Lilystars and Snap! Photo were at the 5th JAM 88.3 Musicfest and they were kind enough to let me tag along. :D Thank you Gelo, Ate Tonet & Clem! ♥

Ahhhh. Great music from all the bands! I didn’t have dinner that night but the music fed my hunger.
(I went home bloated! @u@)

It was pretty difficult taking photos even if I had a press pass. There were too many photographers and too many people. And the bouncers weren’t too friendly because I think I didn’t look like the other “pro” photographers who were all in black polo shirts. Ehhhh. XD

Lilystars Records Anniversary & Gelo’s Party!

<<<<<<<

Some of my photos found their way to Status Magazine’s blog. Thanks to Clem, Ate Tonet & Gelo (Lilystars) for this! :D

So the night wasn’t just about finding ze barista. It was about ze party!

We came back at around 9 and The Camerawalls were already playing. Food and beer was on Gelo but I wasn’t able to eat much because I was in front dancing and taking photos. =P The Camerawalls was followed by Turbo Goth and The Bernadettes.

The bands were fantastic and all of them made the audience dance and sing with them.

Indie Pop music is ♥.

The girls were all drunk except for Jam, who didn’t want to drink because she had a headache, and me, who always is the one who doesn’t get drunk because she has to look after the others who already had too much. =P

I took a video of ‘em and I would love to share what happened but the girls are definitely going to get mad at me. (Read: Disgusting. LOL.)

I might put some screens later. XD

Congratulations to Lilystars Records and The Pop Shoppe! for the awesome party and Belated 21st birthday to Gelo too! :D

Tagay!

Here are some snaps which I took during the event…

Coffee with my girlfriends and my barista

Last Friday, I went out with the girls (yes, Gelo .. for the meantime, girl ka na rin for me. Hahaha!).

‘Twas Gelo’s post birthday celeb and Lilystars Records’ First Anniversary at Gweilos.

We came in early (arrived there around 7). Gelo was busy preparing the stuff for the party. And since we really don’t have anything to help Gelo with, the biological females (bwahahah) — that’s Camo, Jam, Nikki & me — decided to get something to eat.

Gweilos was only a few blocks away from one place I’ve been wanting to go back to for a couple of days now. :P It was the coffee shop where I saw my barista. I was told that his name is Raffy (thanks Ate Sheilla!). :3

I didn’t really intend to call him mine but when I was telling Sir Pepe about him, I was talking too fast and Sir thought I called him “barista ko” (trans: my barista). I thought it’s fun to someone mine just for the sake of owning him in my dreams knowing that he is someone I will never have. So I called him mine. :P

Photos on Aral Pinoy Website

NENE, Bulacan 2007

A few days ago, I received an email from a DLS-CSB professor asking for permission to use my photojourn kid photos for a website about a non-profit project on adopting and nurturing a public classroom called Aral Pinoy. I granted permission and was thankful that he was polite enough to ask. :)

Then he emailed me again to tell that they have officially launched the website this morning.

Check out www.aralpinoy.org to see the photos. Weee. :D

You can also check some screens here and here.

The Bernadettes on Jam88.3

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Last February, Gelo invited me to take some photos of The Bernadettes at their home studio.

Then a few minutes ago, Ate Tonet told me that this photo made it’s way to Jam 88.3’s webby! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Click here if you want to see the screen cap.

Listen to The Bernadettes live at Jam88.3 this coming Sunday, April 5, 7-8pm.

I wanna to go back to the old happy times. =/

Can’t wait to get over this term so I can start doing the stuff that I really want to do! :)

I’m going to start doing my thesis, do more photography, do more OJT, do some freelance, and I’m gonna PARTY!!! XD
